Join me, Katie, for a hands-on workshop where you’ll draft and sew your own personalised bodice and sleeve blocks, the foundation for perfectly fitting clothes you can make again and again. ⸻ 🗓️ Upcoming Dates & Locations All sessions run 9:30 – 16:00 each day 📍 Frill & Flounce, Wyke - Tuesday 11th & Tuesday 18th November 2025, Wyke (spread over two Tuesdays — ideal for absorbing everything at your own pace) - Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th January 2026, Wyke 📍 Stitch Make Create, Horbury - Friday 13th & Saturday 14th March 2026 - Friday 12th & Saturday 13th June 2026 ⸻ One-to-one or Private small Group booking available on request. Email beforeyoustitch@icloud.com for further information on this. ⸻ ✨ What You’ll Learn • Take accurate body measurements, • Draft a custom-fit bodice block with dart manipulation, • Create and fit a sleeve block, • Understand notches, markings, and construction, • Sew your own toile to test the fit, • Learn how to adapt your block for new designs. You’ll leave with a perfectly fitted bodice and sleeve pattern, your go-to blueprint for future makes or adjustments to commercial patterns. ⸻ ⭐ What’s Included • Use of sewing machines and all key equipment, • Calico and materials for your toile, • Guidance and demonstrations from Katie (that’s me!). Cancellation Policy
Eligible to full refund except the deposit anytime until 2 weeks before start of the workshop. Unfortunately if canceling within the 2 weeks before the start of workshop will result in no refund. If you do find yourself in a position where you do have to cancel please contact me as I will do my best to find a solution with you.
