Service Description
Create the foundation for a better-fitting wardrobe with a personalised pattern block! Join me, Katie, at Before You Stitch for a private, five-hour session where I’ll create a pattern block tailored to your measurements, while teaching you about the process and how to use it. Choose between a TOP & SLEEVE block or a TROUSER block. I’ll take care of the technical drafting while explaining how your block is created and how you can use it to develop your own designs or improve the fit of commercial patterns. What’s included? - A personalised pattern block drafted to your measurements. - Five hours of one-to-one guidance with myself, Katie. - Help understanding your block and its potential. - The opportunity to discuss fit and any necessary adjustments. Take Your Block Further - - Digitalising your block I can digitise your block and keep it on file, allowing me to create personalised patterns for you through my Bespoke Pattern Drafting service. Available as an optional extra. - Further private sessions Book additional sessions to learn how to adapt your block, explore different styles and turn your own design ideas into wearable garments. Please note: This booking is for one five-hour private session. Choose either a top and sleeve block or a trouser block when booking.
Cancellation Policy
Eligible to full refund except the deposit anytime until 2 weeks before start of the workshop. Unfortunately if canceling within the 2 weeks before the start of workshop will result in no refund. If you do find yourself in a position where you do have to cancel please contact me as I will do my best to find a solution with you.
