Service Description
Monday 7th & Tuesday 8th October 2024 9:30 - 16:00 Stitch Make Create , Unit 4 Horbury Business Complex, Horbury, WF4 6HH Join me, Katie, with any of your Blocks for a creative weekend of adding design choices to your patterns to create unique, wonderful garments. If you have already attended any of my Perfect Fit pattern drafting workshop then this is the ideal next step for you. Alternatively, you could have acquired a block or have made one yourself, and are ready for what is next. I do have a collection of blocks at hand, but ideally it would be best to attend one of my Perfect Fit Workshop prior. Your chosen designs can be anything from creating a classic tunic you have seen in a magazine to a stand out unique look. Bare in mind that this is to be completed within 2 days. If you have something spectacularly big in mind please email me and we can discuss further. I will provide all the equipment needed so you can come without hassle. We will have provide 2.5 meters of calico to toile/mock-up your designs so if you have something a lot bigger in mind please bring extra fabric. Also, if you are speedy enough to complete your toiles then bring along some of your chosen fabric from your stash. There will be sewing machines provided and equipment, but if you have your favourite tools, such as your trusty shears, please feel free to bring them along. A bit about me… I have a BA Honors degree in Fashion Design from Leeds Art University. Plus, a background of working as a Military Tailor following MoD specifications and as a technician assisting degree students in bringing their wonderful creations to life! £90 for the whole weekend! I am happy to help spread the cost if you would prefer to pay in instalments before the workshop begins, but I would kindly ask that all payments are paid in full, 1 week prior to the commencement of the course. Cancellation Policy
Eligible to full refund except the deposit anytime until a week before start of the workshop. Unfortunately if canceling within a week before the start of workshop will result in no refund. If you do find yourself in a position where you do have to cancel please contact me as I will do my best to find a solution with you.
